The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date accounting record and database on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate would be process-oriented, pay close attention to detail, and have analytical thinking skills.
The role will involve reviewing and release of purchase orders after ensuring compliance with DOA and procurement policy; preparation of statement of accounts for withholding tax, VAT and follow up for payment to Tax authorities; assisting in the monthly closing process (i.e. record closing entries, prepaid expenses, accruals expense, provisions, and account reconciliations, periodic processes in SAP); ensuring bank reconciliation are reconciled and have no overdue reconciling items for the accounts payable; maintaining and updating the fixed asset register to ensure that information are updated; assisting in the preparation of the monthly reports and actuals vs budget analysis, providing ad hoc reporting as requested; preparing year end audit schedules to support the financial statements and conducting assets-OPEX physical count
The incumbent will report to the Finance Manager. The role will be based out of Mall Management offices at Doha Festival City, Doha, Qatar.

CA/CPA//CIMA/ACCA/CFA/CMA would be preferred.
